Life in early October
Been on the grind the last week, working on throwing an Event October 18th that will showcase all the great street brands Lexington has to offer, and painting a few pieces for PRHBTN. I wish I could slow down time and catch a lot more of the street art PRHBTN is putting all over Lexington. Lexington is hitting this level that I can even keep up with all the great art that is happening. caught a few flicks of Mr.Dheos and Parizs joint mural.
I used to live across the street from where this mural was being created and I remember it as a very dark time in my life, was when I realized I was in a dead end job, didn't have enough space to paint and the space I was living was less than desirable. So to me it's amazing to see this beauty being brought to that part of town. When I was down hearted I would go for a walk and pass this fire house, it's one of my favorite buildings in Lexington, just stunning and legit takes you back to the days of AmericanGraffiti and Sandlot. You can imagine the crew cuts and men with white t shirts walking to their day jobs down the street at the old bread factory that was a few blocks away.
Also checked out The Roastery, had a shot of Espresso which was strong as hell and picked up some Boch for my homie Will. A lady stared hard at me when I shot that back and immediately did an inadvertent Nae Nae.
To end the weekend Im going to listen to records, read, and take a 10 hour dirtnap
